Lizard Visitor

Scoop came in with a big lizard this morning. He carried it in, dumped it on his rug, and lay down comfortably to take a closer look at it. Luckily the lizard was unhurt, and had the sense not to move.

I gave old fuzzy a bit of leftover lamb to distract him, and took the lizard to a quiet spot in the garden where he can recover himself and make a quiet exit.

Here he is, practically invisible in the bushes. While he looks small, he measures some 10 cm from nose to tailbone, and has a tail some extra 15 cm long to boot.
