COT Toad Time


Target has been talking to the garden toad. But the way our kitten turns him upside down just for fun doesn't please our toad pal at all. Now whenever the toad sees Target he hides in a corner, puffs up and bleats at him. Target doesn't care. He's just too fascinated to let such an interesting creature alone. Poor old toad.

Hi Katztales! I had a cat once that caught a toad and oh! it was so scary! They have something under their skin that causes the cat to foam at the mouth and, being young, I thought my kitty was going to die! The cat sure never caught another toad again!!

Ooooh, our mum tells us that the toads here are poisonous. But we're not allowed outside so unless one comes inside, we probably won't get to check it out. (Mum says she does not want a toad inside, thank you very much!)

My cat used to bring home every
creature, toads, frogs, moles,
gophers, mice, males cats (LOL),
she was an amazing tiger tabby
hunter and lived to be 18 yrs old!

Oh dear. Poor toad! The Spice Cats never get to go out and Winter never bothers about them, so the toads outside is safe.
