This is a great excuse for not making the bed. Wonder if it will work at my house? Probably not, just the kids would be able to use it. Even though Sassie sleeps on my bed and not theirs!

Thank you so much for the shoutout for Tabitha and Rafferty, dear Ellen! Really appreciate it. Am thinking of bringing them home from the SPCA for a bit to help them get bigger and stronger again. They became really skinny after 2 weeks at the SPCA, it just breaks my heart.

Za is beautiful, like a younger version of my Shadow. I really hope she finds a home, too. Plus the doggies. If people neutered their animal companions and treat them as family members and friends-for-life, we wouldn't have the problem of trying to rehome so many.

Please get a new box for Au ASAP. I will try to get sturdy big ones for him too. Target is simply adorable! So manja. Both of you are so funny! I do syrupy-sweet talk with my furbabies too.

Oh dear. Looking at the photo of Target yawn makes me all yawny and sleepy.
 

We need your rain here. I think everyone close to the burned area are getting "preparedness" meetings. The dryness and the hot temperature is not helping solve the situation. I heard about the fires in Malaysia and Indonesia. We just have to take care....P.S. What a cute description of "bed pig", ours is one...

We're glad the fires are out! And we love the photo of Target. (Our mom uses the excuse "Dobby is sleeping" almost every day so she doesn't have to make the bed.)

We are going to get some rain tomorrow, but it won't be a monsoon, that kind of sounds neat.

All of us kitties in my family were strays before they came to live with my mom and dad. Madison and Cecilia are still a bit feral, meaning they still have a wee bit of that wild streak in them. Cecilia has it more than Madison, but he's much older now and he was more skittish when he was a young mancat. They try and post every Friday, but sometimes someone else in the family takes over.
 

I love the picture of the big yawn. I have a picture somewhere on my blog of my chihuahua yawning.

The cat you liked on my blog is Marshmellow. He was left in a park to fend for himself when he was just a baby.

Our sky seems to be holding its fist tight as to withholding the rain. It is only showing us some threats but would never let go its tears from above. Night rain or early morning shower was never enough in the last few days.

Anyway, sounds like you are a full time feline journo promoting homeless gorgeous cats. With my experience, when they are properly trained and tamed, they do make loyal pets and valuable companions.
