Sunway Lagoon Club invited the kids for a Merdeka Day treat on Saturday 22nd.

The kids spent the morning in the pool. The younger ones reveled in the paddling pool and enjoyed the water slides, while the older kids were given impromptu swimming lessons by friends Nigel and José.

Afterwards the group repaired to the indoor hall for an hour of football practice. The younger kids enjoyed playing group games, even enticing Sunway Club staff to join in while the older boys enjoyed personal tuition from football player Kenny Seriyugo who played for the under 18 Uganda national team.

As the day was sponsored by the Sunway Lagoon Club's Palm Restaurant, Dominos Pizza and Anuja Indian Restaurant, there were plenty of yummy things to eat too. A post swim snack of noodles was followed by a lunch of pizza and nasi lemak.
