Precious Children Home
Precious Children Home is located at No. 11, Lorong 3/57A, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor (behind MPPJ Library Petaling Jaya).

The home currently houses 32 children ranging from 4 to 18 years old. These children are mostly from the streets or whose parents are drug addicts, alcoholics, undergoing rehabilitation program or in prison, and orphans. Currently, these children, except for the youngest, are attending school. 10 are in secondary school, 7 in primary school and 5 in kindergartens.
Because of the recent economic downturn, more kids have joined the Home.
There is now a second building to house the overflow.
The guardians have separated the kids into those aged under 13 and those over. But the new place is literally bare boards.The home does not receive a fixed monthly income. It is now surviving on contributions from the church and individuals.
The Needs of Precious Children Home
The new home is in need of every type of furnishing. They need 7 sets of bunk beds, mattresses, bed sheets, a gas stove, curtains, cupboards, kettle, and furniture like tables and chairs.
Taking chairty isn't easy. So to empower the kids, and to get them out and about enjoying the festive season during the school holidays, the kids go carolling at homes and hotels. Donations for this are needed to buy the usual necessities such as school fees, stationery, school books, shoes, bags, uniforms etc. If you won a business or are having a party, please contact the kids.
Passion Craftswork
In order to raise money, Linda Wong is making and selling Passion Craftswork jewellery, handcrafted pearl and crystal bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. All profits will go to Precious Children Home.
